The DM5 Series Puts DM7 Processing in a Mid-Size Console
Yamaha built the DM5 Series with the portability of a DM3 and the power and expandability of a DM7.
Two durable Consoles with Adjustable Tilt Displays
60 input channels, 32 analog inputs, 26 faders
The DM5 is a 60-channel dual-bay digital console for live, broadcast, corporate, and theater use. Powered by the DM7 engine, it delivers 96 kHz audio, advanced processing, and seamless show file sharing. It features 26 faders, dual touchscreens, 32 analog inputs, durable construction, and an adjustable glare-reducing display for outdoor use.
48 input channels, 16 analog inputs, 13 faders
The DM5C is a 48-channel single-bay digital console for live, broadcast, corporate, and theater use. Powered by the DM7 engine, it delivers 96 kHz audio, advanced processing, and seamless file sharing. It features 13 faders, 16 analog inputs, touchscreen control, and a compact, durable design with adjustable, glare-reducing display.
Both consoles include Steinberg Nuendo Live and VST Rack Elements as downloads.
Show Files Move Between DM5 and DM7
The DM5 Series shares firmware with the DM7 and runs the same DM Editor software, so a DM7 show file opens on a DM5 or DM5C and an engineer moves between the platforms without rebuilding the file or relearning the workflow.
Expand the I/O With the RUio Series
The RUio series launches alongside the DM5 and complements Rio and RPio stage boxes with utility I/O for Dante systems.
RUio1608SB-D is a portable 16-in/8-out stage box, offering improved sound quality, flexible placement, rack-mount option, and reliable I/O for live and temporary applications.
RUio16FLX-D is a flexible 16-channel rack I/O with Phoenix connectors, supporting analog or AES/EBU routing, ideal for live, installation, and business audio system expansion.
RUio0804-D is a rackmount 8-in/4-out audio interface delivering improved sound quality, ideal for expanding I/O, talkback input, and medium-to-large live or installed systems.
Add 32 Premium Rack Slots With PY-DSP
The optional PY-DSP card runs processing derived from the RIVAGE PM Series on the DM5. The lineup includes the Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5033 EQ, the Portico 5043 compressor, and Dynamic EQ.
On a DM7 the same card adds 32 slots on top of the 64 already there, so one part number serves both platforms.
Three Licenses Extend the Console Into Broadcast, Theater, and Automix
Optional software packages.
Broadcast feature set for the DM5 Series.
Theater feature set for the DM5 Series.
Dugan automix package for the DM5 Series.
