sE Electronics V7 X Supercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone

The sE Electronics V7 X is a road-ready dynamic instrument microphone offering a detailed and powerful sounds for guitar cabs, drums, and horns on stage and in the studio. Its aluminum voice coil and supercardioid polar pattern reduce the pickup of stage bleed to help you achieve high gain before feedback. Featuring neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances, and high-end workmanship, the V7 X delivers the consistency you need for great shows night after night.

The mic is equipped with an internal windscreen to help reduce unwanted wind noise and plosive pops. The integrated shockmount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations, effectively minimizing noise caused by inevitable microphone handling. The V7 X's all-metal construction, spring steel mesh grille, and gold-plated XLR contacts offer effective protection from the rigors of live performance and touring.

Brings Instruments to Life

The V7 X is a supercardioid dynamic instrument microphone that lifts the sonic curtain in front of your sources, connecting listeners with your performance at a whole new level. The sibling to the acclaimed vocal-oriented V7, the V7 X is a dynamic instrument microphone ideal for a broad range of instrumental applications, both in the studio and on stage. Its specialized capsule's innovative aluminum voice coil and brand new acoustic design are specifically tailored for full-bandwidth instrumental reinforcement and recording, with a balance of detailed highs and deep, ultra-powerful lows, allowing for use on nearly any source from electric guitar cabinets to brass instruments, snare drums to choir, and many more.

DMC7 X Capsule

The all-new custom DMC7 X capsule offers the same technologies and features as its sibling within the V7, including its innovative, specialized aluminum voice coil. While the V7 is optimized for vocals, the capsule in the V7 X has been custom-tuned for instrumental use. The upper frequency range is smooth and balanced, capturing every nuance of the player, while the lowered resonance and extended, powerful low-frequency response allows for a complete spectrum of instruments: 4x12 guitar cabs, toms, snares, horns, rotary organs, or any other instrument all come through loud, natural, and clear.

Supercardioid Polar Pattern

The supercardioid pattern of this sophisticated capsule also helps isolate your instruments from other sound sources on the stage, efficiently reducing stage bleed and ensuring copious amounts of gain before feedback.

Quality Construction

Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances, and high workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, high-end sound quality, and superb consistency.

Metal Housing and Beveled Grille

The V7 X's road-ready design is all metal, no plastic parts here. The chassis' high-quality, highly durable zinc alloy is designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years, and the spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free for perfect reliability. The beveled edge around the grille prevents the V7 X from rolling when set down on top of an amp or the stage floor.

Integrated Capsule Suspension

The V7 X's advanced internal capsule suspension efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, isolating it from shocks and jolts and providing exceptionally low rumble and handling noise as compared to other mics in its class.

Internal Windscreen

The red internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted wind noise. In case you prefer a more visually subtle windscreen, a black one is included as a standard accessory.

Gold-Plated XLR Connector

The V7 X's gold-plated XLR connector also ensures a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come.

sE Electronics V Kick Dynamic Percussion Instrument Microphone for Drums & Bass

Primarily designed for kick drums, floor-toms, and electric bass, the sE Electronics V Kick is a dynamic microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern. It's intended to be quite versatile, with four different tonalities thanks to two switches mounted on the rear of the mic. One switch controls the frequency content of the midrange, while the other changes the high-frequency capture of the V Kick.

Thanks to these switches, you can secure a rounded midrange with a softer high end, a scooped midrange with a defined high end—or the complete opposite: A scooped midrange with a softer high-end, or a round midrange with a softer high end. This allows you to use the mic with all sorts of styles of kick drum, from big-band jazz to aggressive metal. The same is true for basses. You can tailor this mic for something that complements a round, vintage Ampeg tone, or a more modern back-pickup style.

These switches are positioned on the rear of the mic, and this helps with live-sound functionality. With different bands switching their instruments between sets, this mic can be of service in keeping changeover time to a minimum in club venues.

At the heart of the V Kick is its DMC7 SB capsule, which utilizes an aluminum voice coil for a transient-rich sound and a bottom end extending low enough to record the fundamental frequencies of kick drums and basses. Its supercardioid pickup pattern ensures little bleed, helping you isolate the sound-source from other drums or cymbals. The capsule is suspended inside the mic to keep it decoupled from mechanical vibration, shocks, jolts, and other issues.

The mic's all-metal housing is rugged, making the mic suitable for live use on the road. A gold-plated XLR connector helps to provide a reliable signal connection. With a windscreen built into the mic, it's already internally protected against winds, plosives, and extraneous noise. A black windscreen and a knurled nut for third-party mounting kits are included.

sE Electronics sE7 Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

Designed for drums, guitars, pianos, or indeed, any application requiring a pencil-mic design, the sE Electronics sE7 is a back-electret, small-diaphragm condenser microphone. It sports a cardioid polar pattern. Fashioned from class-A circuitry and utilizing a transformerless output, the microphone captures sound with clarity and neutrality across its frequency response, thus eschewing overly harsh highs and aiding in a pleasurable bottom end.

A switchable 20 dB attenuation pad allows you to use this microphone with loud instruments, doing so with a favorable signal-to-noise ratio. A low-cut filter at 80 Hz helps filter out rumble and other unwanted bass issues. Thus, you can use the sE7 in both close and distant miking scenarios.

An all-metal chassis provides a robust, roadworthy construction, while gold-plated XLR terminations ensure security in the connecting process. A mic clip and a windscreen are included.

sE Electronics V Beat Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone

Designed for use with snare drums and toms, the sE Electronics V Beat is a dynamic, supercardioid microphone. It offers a low-profile design that attaches easily to the rim of drum heads. Not only does the mic provide a highly accurate, naturalistic audio capture—it also keeps cables out the drummer's line of sight and makes it easier for them to maneuver around the kit without fear of accidentally striking a mic head.

At the heart of the V Beat is its DMC7 X capsule, which utilizes an aluminum voice coil for a transient-rich sound, and a bottom end extending low enough to record the fundamental frequencies of toms and snares. Its supercardioid pickup pattern ensures little bleed, helping you isolate the sound source from other drums or cymbals.

Superior Off-Axis Rejection

The excellent off-axis rejection of the supercardioid DMC7 X capsule helps isolate your drums from other sound sources, efficiently reducing stage bleed and spill from other instruments on stage or in the studio.

Rugged Design

The V Beat's road-ready chassis is all metal. The chassis' high-quality, highly durable die-cast zinc alloy and dent-proof, corrosion-free spring steel mesh grille is designed to withhold the wear and tear of everyday tour life for years.

Integrated Capsule Suspension

The V Beat's advanced internal capsule suspension efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, isolating it from shocks and jolts and eliminating the need for an external shockmount.

The DMC7 X Capsule

The custom DMC7 X capsule offers the same innovative, specialized aluminum voice coil technology as the V7 dynamic. With aluminum being a much lighter material than the industry standard (copper), it delivers an open and transient-rich sound, with deep and clear lows and an extremely balanced midrange, supporting the natural resonances of percussive instruments.

Compact, Flexible, and Minimalist Design

The V Beat utilizes an extremely low-profile mechanical design, with the XLR connector and stand mount integrated in parallel on the underside of the flexible swivel mount. This minimizes the V Beat's footprint, removes any cables from line of sight, and negates the need for any right-angle adapters or special cables.

sE Electronics V CLAMP Quick-Mounting Drum Mic Clamp

The sE Electronics V CLAMP is a mount designed to add more flexibility when mounting drum mics to drum heads, particularly those in the V BEAT series. The V CLAMP secures to the rim of a snare or tom drum by means of its elastic clip, while the cylindrical metal tube allows you to move attached V-Series microphones on a vertical plane. With the V CLAMP, you can position the mic further away from the drum if you want to get more air and bloom around the sound, or mic it in tight and close. At the bottom of the rod is a small hole, which you can use with a tie clip for cable organization.
